Porn is moving into my large community group on Facebook. With 17,300+ members and Facebook is turning a blind eye. The group has become the community square for a county of 100,000 residents. The area shares news, events, and ideas. The group brings people together to help strengthen the community.

We have many moderators to keep order and to keep the trolls out. Mind you, the time spent by administrators and moderators is unpaid. We spend hours per day reading posts and coming up with story ideas to keep the community engaged.

Lately, we have had a new kind of member. Facebook recast groups a few months ago, making it easier for people to join. Porn spammers are now joining the group.

They post messages showing intercourse in vivid detail. Penetration of a woman is always in their photos and videos. I delete the images before they are made public. I report them to Facebook as well.

Facebook Community Standards state:

Post images of sexual activity. Restrictions on the display of sexual activity also apply to illustrated and digitally created content unless the content is posted for educational, humorous, or satirical purposes. Explicit images of sexual intercourse are prohibited” https://bit.ly/3FfbsAr
